Beat Buy Health published a case study about Geisinger, a health care organization based in Danville, Pennsylvania, known for its innovative approaches to patient care. Geisinger has been offering RPM solutions through Best Buy Health’s Current Health care in the home solution since 2020. The Current Health platform provided RPM, and patients received Bluetooth-enabled blood pressure monitors and other devices that transmit data to healthcare providers in real-time. This study of patients with hypertension using RPM resulted in 67 percent of patients achieved blood pressure control below 140/90 mm Hg at six months, and at 12 months, this success rate improved to 74 percent.
